"Okay, so the 802D isn't the absolute best speaker in the B&W's new-for-2005 800 Series - that accolade belongs to the quite awesome 800D. But the 802D has one important advantage: it costs £5,000 less, yet it delivers 95 percent of the sound quality, diamond tweeter and all. It's a fantastic speaker in its own right, of course, capable of astonishing scale and insight, and in terms of value, both material and sonic, it's really quite a bargain."
