The Linn Kisto is one of those rare "does it all" components that do massive input/output without compromising sound quality, functionality, or scalability. It can handle video I/O, audio I/O in both stereo and surround modes, and multiple rooms/whole house (via the Linn Knekt system). It's also massively programmable, auto-selects Dolby modes, handles just about any connector currently in favor. The KISTO System Controller is one of the most
complex and comprehensive products engineered by
Linn. With over one hundred connections on the
back panel, the KISTO System Controller has been
designed to offer a totally comprehensive solution that
forms the heart of a high performance home enter-
tainment system. As you would expect from such a
comprehensive product, the KISTO System Controller
is capable of decoding the majority of current audio
and video formats to the highest level of quality.
The product features a new, Linn-designed intuitive
user interface for speedier set-up and operation. This
interface allows Custom Installation specialists or end-
users to add and configure other products with the
minimum of effort. The KISTO System Controller also
features a sliding front panel that allows access to a
number of sockets which can be used for ‘infrequent
use’ products such as a camcorder, games console or
PC keyboard.

The front panel of the KISTO System Controller
features a new ‘LinnGo’ standby button which can be
programmed to run a variety of configurable macro
routines or a preferred start up source configuration.
A number of 12 volt triggers at the rear of the product
ensure that other elements of a home theatre system
including projectors, screens, lighting systems and
drapes can also be controlled.
