Linn Akurate DS Evening - Wednesday, 26th March

On Wednesday, 26th March just after Easter we are planning to hold a musical evening here at the shop. We would like to invite you and a friend or partner to come along.
We will be joined on the evening by George Clegg, Linn's redoubtable man in the north.

Linn have recently introduced a more affordable version of their Klimax Digital streamer the Akurate DS that fits in with their existing Akurate range. They say: -

Reviews for the up-market model, the Klimax DS, the first of its kind in the HiFi world have verged on the ecstatic and includes quotes from HiFi World, in October 2007.

"I don't think I've heard better from a digital source. The results were magical…"

And from Audio in Germany last October says: -
"Linn’s [Klimax DS] conjured up a crystal clear sound without sharp edges but with elegant lines, tremendously well contoured and unbelievably exact. Having lived with the sound quality from both the Klimax and now the Akurate Digital Streamers here at the shop, we can confirm that it is a remarkable step in the evolution of HiFi.

Both the Klimax and Akurate DS models can be added as an additional source to any HiFi system no matter who makes it. It takes advantage of your existing CD collection and any MP3, 16bit or 24 bit downloads you choose to add to your hard drive through your computer.
Linn Digital Streamers are controlled by their own purpose built software.
