Linn's Summer Offer (Newscast Requires Quicktime and Sound)

For all those who either aspire to or already own any Linn Electronics the good auld Scottish company are offering several generous promotion deals this summer - all until 15th August '07.

Firstly, anyone purchasing any of their current 'Chakra' amplifiers: - Akurate 4200, 3200, 2200 power amplifiers and the Majik 6100, 5100, 4100, 3100, 2100 power amplifiers will be offered suitable 'Aktiv' cards to go inside these amplifiers for free, a saving of £190 per two channels of amplification.

This will allow them to transform their existing Linn speakers * from a 'passive' environment, where one or two power amplifiers drive the speakers through the crossover within the speaker (passive) to an environment where two or more dedicated amplifiers, with 'Aktiv' cards within them, drive the speakers directly, bypassing the crossover and making direct connection with the drive units themselves (active).

This offers a dramatic improvement in clarity, dynamics, scale, sensitivity and emotion in the music. In other words it can transform the system.

* Applies to the following Linn loudspeakers: - Keilidh, Kaber, Tukan, Katan, Keltik, Espek, AV5140, Ninka, Ekwal, Sekrit, Akurate 212, Akurate 242.

Secondly, if you already own any of Linn's older LK Electronics, CD players, Tuners or Amplification, you can part exchange them against the new CD Players, new DAB Tuner (when available) and Amplification at this shop - and Linn will offer you a further 10% discount off the price of the new electronics if you do.
