We are slowly re-decorating the shop in calmer designer colours and plan to extend the ground floor workroom area at the back of the shop, moving it forward to allow more space for the engineering/resetting work to be done.
Our new website (www.soundorg.co.uk) is proving popular and has gained some recognition in being the first UK HiFi site to incorporate simple 'Newscasts' of news items. Check it out, but be sure to turn on your speakers to listen to Hamish's dulcet tones.
David has, as always, been very busy updating Linn LP12 turntables, and fulfilling countless other duties whist Bob and John have selling, installing and servicing our goods in this increasingly complex world of domestic HiFi electronics.
The general trend is for more customers to show an interest in Audio Visual solutions to their music making. At the same time most people want a neat solution with few, if any, wires showing.
Small speakers, tidy DVD players and amplification combined with LCD or Plasma screens are fast becoming the norm. New iPod and Hard Drive technology add enormous convenience, and sometimes, because of high compression levels used in MP3 formats this comes at the expense of sound quality.
The trick is to be able to combine all of this with a good sound at the same time.
Our world is changing fast, but here at the Sound Organisation we have not lost sight of our original goal of helping you make a great sound in your home.
Do phone us to discuss any solutions you have in mind and we will, as always do our best to help and be pleased to hear from you.
All the very best, Hamish, David, Bob & John.
