We are planning to hold a LINN LP12 KLINIK here at the shop on Tuesday, 25th May.

Our intention is to play you a selection of the many excellent upgrades Linn have developed recently. Whilst you are here we will be playing you Linn's great new product - the Uphorik phono stage.

At our Linn event you can take advantage of a 10% discount on the majority of these upgrades for your cherished LP12.
As long time vinyl lovers here at the Sound Org, we are delighted that due to several significant improvements in LP12 performance, records are now sounding better than ever. And adding to that improved performance is the newly launched Uphorik Phono Stage – a new breakthrough phono stage design which unlocks the full potential of vinyl and can be used on any turntable, no matter who has manufactured it.
You can hear this yourself on Tuesday, 25th May – and we even invite you to bring along your own phono stage and a few favourite records to challenge it against!
The brand new Uphorik phono stage features separate dedicated inputs and circuits for MM (Moving Magnet) and MC (Moving Coil) cartridges, with adjustment switches which allow you to easily optimise the Uphorik to your particular cartridge.

The Uphorik is developed from Linn's reference internal phono stage, the Urika, and makes their latest technological advances, such as dual mono topology and fully screened differential input, available to all in a stand-alone design.

The Uphorik's flexibility also extends to connections, with a choice of balanced or unbalanced outputs, and RCA or XLR inputs, which guarantees the Uphorik will always match your requirements.

For all those interested, we will be comparing the Uphorik with Linn's excellent Linto & Naim's excellent Superline.

We will not be able to service your turntable that actual day but will contact you later when it is finished to let you know, so that you can collect it from us at your convenience.

Keel is a combined ‘machined-from-solid’ sub-chassis, armboard and collar, delivering a revelation in performance to your LP12 turntable for an even more involving musical experience.

The Keel is machined from a single solid piece of aluminium to provide extremely rigid support to the tonearm and platter. Eliminating screws, fixings and joins between each component removes virtually all vibration, resulting in more accurate music reproduction.

The Keel has been engineered to maintain the same mass and centre of gravity as achieved with the separate sub-chassis, armboard and collar, ensuring that it integrates seamlessly with the suspension system of every turntable.

Adding a Keel to your Sondek LP12 turntable offers a significant leap in performance and helps get even more music from your record collection. To get the best possible performance from your Sondek LP12 turntable, specify the Ekos SE tonearm, Akiva cartridge, together with the Urika or Uphorik phono stage and Radikal power supply.

Linn Radikal, an LP12 SE upgrade, comprises a DC motor, motor control unit and power supply.  It takes the performance of your LP12 to an entirely new level.

Linn Radikal replaces the standard AC motor and power supply, upgrading your Sondek LP12 transcription turntable to a new level of accuracy in musical reproduction.

The Radikal features a speed management system that auto-calibrates the motor every time the Sondek LP12 is powered on, ensuring perfect timing every time you use it.

With radically reduced electromagnetic noise levels, the highly developed brushed DC motor delivers a huge improvement in signal-to-noise ratio, getting you even closer to the music as the artist intended.

The Radikal Power Supply is available with a choice of silver or black Linn chassis, or in their special machined-from-solid aluminium chassis to match a Klimax system (at additional cost!).

Ekos SE is Linn’s flagship tonearm, designed to nurture your vinyl and extract the maximum information from your cherished vinyl collection.

Setting a new performance benchmark, Ekos SE that now replaces the Ekos, features advanced materials, that include a machined titanium arm tube to reduce resonance within the arm and a stainless steel bearing housing which helps reduce unwanted tonearm movements.
With ultra-low friction bearings and temperature-compensated precision-springs ensure that the exceptional performance of the Ekos SE tonearm is maintained regardless of whether you are listening to your first track of the day or after many hours of music. Low-loss cable and gold connectors are used to protect the audio signal in transmission to the pre-amplifier.

The Ekos SE tonearm is a superb partner for nearly any cartridge and is the best sounding tonearm that we know of.
