The Sound Organisation is committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our customers. We are not in the business of selling, renting or trading our customers data with other companies for marketing purposes. However, we do collect some information which is outlined below.

  • Cookies - Our website uses cookies to collect information. This includes information about browsing and purchasing behaviour by people who access our website. Including information about pages viewed, products purchased and the customer journey around our website. We use Google Analytics to collect standard internet log information and details of customers behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone.

  • Newsletter - You can voluntarily subscribe to our e-newsletter, and easily unsubscribe by following the link at the bottom of the e-newsletter. We collect personal information in the form of your name and email address to allow us to send these newsletters to you. We don't rent, sell or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses. We use a third-party provider, Campaign Monitor, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. You can unsubscribe from our e-newsletter by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by contacting us directly.

  • Online Sales - When you purchase product(s) from our online store your name, address data, email and contact number will be stored in our secure system. Please be assured that we do not share your personal details with any other company without your consent, with the exception of our courier should you choose to have the item sent to you. In this case we will supply your name, address and phone number (if provided) to ensure they can carry out their role in delivering your item. We primarily collect this information to allow us to carry out the sale, as well as to meet our accounting and legal obligations. We use Stripe to process any payments made and we do not store your personal payment information, they have their own robust privacy policy which can be viewed here.

You are entitled to view, amend, or delete your personal information that we hold with the exception of where we are legally obliged to store the information held. Please contact us to arrange or discuss this further.

All information on this web site regarding products and services provided by the Sound Organisation is subject to change without notice. Reasonable efforts are taken to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all information provided here, but we are not responsible for misprints, out-of-date information, or errors. We make no warranty, express or implied, or assumes any legal liability or responsibility for the accuracy or completeness of any information contained on this web site.

5. Terms of Sale 
By placing an order you are offering to purchase a product on and subject to the following terms and conditions. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price. Dispatch times may vary according to availability and subject to any delays resulting from postal delays or force majeure for which we will not be responsible. 

In order to contract with www.soundorg.co.uk you must possess a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us. www.soundorg.co.uk retains the right to refuse any request made by you. When placing an order you undertake that all details you provide to us are true and accurate, that you are an authorised user of the credit or debit card used to place your order and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods.

When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement e-mail confirming receipt of your order: this email will only be an acknowledgement and will not constitute acceptance of your order. A contract between us will not be formed until we send you confirmation by e-mail that the goods which you ordered have been dispatched to you. Only those goods listed in the confirmation e-mail sent at the time of dispatch will be included in the contract formed.

For added security we reserve the right to contact the card holder (and/or the recipient if applicable) to ensure the order is genuine. We reserve the right to cancel the order at any time should we believe the order is potentially fraudulent. We will report all fraud to the relevant authorities.

We reserve the right to use debt collection agents whose charges will be added to and payable with the invoice debt.

Whilst we try and ensure that all details, descriptions and prices which appear on this Website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.

Upon receiving your order we carry out a standard authorisation check on your payment card to ensure there are sufficient funds to fulfil the transaction. Your card will be debited upon authorisation being received. The monies received upon the debiting of your card shall be treated as a deposit against the value of the goods you wish to purchase. Once the goods have been despatched and you have been sent a confirmation email the monies paid as a deposit shall be used as consideration for the value of goods you have purchased as listed in the confirmation email.

6. Returns and cancellations
We always try to help our customers, please contact us with any issues regarding returns and cancellations. 
You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are nonrefundable. This does not affect your statutory rights.

7. Linking to this Website
You may link to our home page, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it, but you must not establish a link in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists. You must not establish a link from any website that is not owned by you. This Website must not be framed on any other site, nor may you create a link to any part of this Website other than the home page. We reserve the right to withdraw linking permission without notice.

8. Conclusion
These terms are governed by English law. Any contract for the purchase of goods from this site and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with any such contract will be governed by English law. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction. However, if you are a resident in Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are a resident in Scotland you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
